460 AD: 1550th ANNIVERSARY OF THE BIRTH OF CADWALLON LAWHIR Marks The Beginnings Of The Royal Dynasty of Gwynedd, worth commemorating, yes why not?

.
Perhaps Patriots focus far too much on the downfall of Gwynedd and end of Welsh Independence in 1282 and in doing so miss out on much that is interesting in our history. Not least we patriots know little of this early history of Cymru in the years following the leaving of the Roman legions in 410 which this year is being commemorated in a number of major ways, a subject I have already posted up information on in my blog Hwb Hanes Cymru, see link below:

I have further suggested that an ideal location in Northern Wales for marking in these post Roman connections would have been Conwy and Deganwy, see link below post and July Post a Day out in Llanrwst, Conwy and Deganwy:

Matters in above two posts are still most importantly outstanding as needing to see initiatives outlined therein moved on asap, for all the reasons stated regards Cadw Princes of Wales/Marcher Lords Inititiaives. If David Hayes had taken his 'Cymdeithas Tywysogion' seriously and not been so into 'Retro Republicanism' with his Cymru 1400, of course in association with, now ''Socialist Republican'' Adam Phillips of Balchder Cymru. Both being more concerned with parading about at Abergele, Frongoch and next Cofiwch Tryweryn and then sigh! Cofia Cilmeri, than getting stuck into Cadw and their devious plans. But no 'Taff Foolery' is the name of their game, little wonder I have withdrawn my support from the Hayes c'mon click 'Cymdeithas Tywysogion' Face book fruitlessness. I advise all who are serious about doing something purposefull and practical regards our history, in this case pressing medieval matters of great concern to the North avoid 'Hayes Honchos' and get cracking on some very real initiatives outlined in these posts. Not least in Llanrwst, Conway and Deganwy and of course on Ynys Mon regards Cadwallon Lawhir and the battle of Cerrig y Gwyddel, see link below:
