CADW NATIVE PRINCES OF WALES INITIATIVE Patriots Your On Warning! It's a GO! GO! GO!

.

Regards Cymdeithas Tywysogion, this was based on an Initiative I launched in this blog, see earlier posts. I also issued an hard copy Initiative paper to a number of people I considered as having a keen interest on the provision they made definite affirmative links with Antur Llys Rhosyr.  This being an initiative closely related to the high kings of Gwlad Gwynedd, thus having some priority central position to all re the Initiative paper I issued some time back. If you consider the work I have done in this blog and I'R GAD Welsh Battlefield Campaign blog plus of course some near enough 45 odd years working in  Welsh Medieval Interest areas, particularly with Cofiwn, Ty Cenedl and Embassy Glyndwr It his quite easy to see why I have a continued pastoral interest in the aforementioned Initiative Paper. Not least as to how well Cymdeithas Tywysogion Cymru are doing in development of this initiative, generally, I am still very pleased with what they have done thus far, see link below links below:

.However, I will be more pleased when they announce loudly far and wide the date, time and place of a meeting to elect offcers, a meeting not in a pub and not in association with any one particular organsation or patriotic event. There must be absolute 'Inclusive Transparency', such meeting needs to be some where appropriate and central, possibly close to Prysgduon, maybe there is a community hall for hire in St Harmon suitable for a conference? If holding such conference no later than August Bank Holiday  and making it a weekend event, if weather still good then  a good cross country ramble to Prysgduon maybe on the cards too? Especially for those who might want to come aboard my major Medieval Venture, maybe more 'Medieval Adventure', I will see those have already expessed interested in this soon to discuss way forward, regards this potential epic event?.
.
Further to above these are my areas of greatest concern, as follows:
..
1: I hate face book, it is so open to abuse, not least by MI5/CIA. It is thus important that those who are running such as above are transparent as to whom they are and identify themselves with photos as well. There are on the web what I feel are a number of MI5 'Welsh Stings Sites' as well as 'dodgy' forums, the former to identify Patriots the latter to get 'patriotic fools' to commit 'patriotic stupidity' to words. DO YOU GET MY DRIFT!!!
.
2: This Society needs now not to be stuck in any 'Super Patriot' mode with ideas of making this great sensible Initiative just another puny expression of knee jerk P,P& P- ing 'Parody of a Pathetic Patriotism'.  Waving flags in expression of some patriotic 'Anxt' or another rather than geting down to some really serious work which I will list for your attention below. We can ill aford to have yet another patriotic group of 'Joiners' but not real 'do-ers' when such are whom we need most. We need right now a body of enthusiasts that can work with Heritage, Civic and Archaeological Trusts also  Community Groups as a priority over 'patriotic fantasists', 'Infantile Adventurers' and 'Dilettante Opportunists'. If you do not grasp that fact, then you could ruin and hold back much regards this native Princes of Wales Initiative, in this connection, I further do not find Face book an appropriate means of forwarding this great and serious Initiative. I increasingly view Face book as something teenagers find fascinating, I do not! perhaps because I am not a teenager maybe? But, hopefully you get my drift!
..
3: Not least at this moment in time Cadw regards it's Princes of WalesHeritage Tourism - Initiative is moving ahead very fast, much advanced already without much 'inclusive transparency'. So allowing much to be decided on in almost semi - secracy in which the 'usual Crachach suspects' plus English Tourism Interests will benefit over and above 'Y Werin' and their community of Interests.  At this moment in time 'Pobl Cymdeithas Tywysogion' need to desperately to focus their attention asap on  Cadw and Co who are not completely 'up front' as to what they are up to?. Unfortunately because Cadw has not been transparent but rather has been beavering away with friends and cronies, patriots will be the last to know what they have been up to? It has been one hell of a job to keep on top of Cadw when for a long time they have been so secretive in putting much together behind the scenes, not least in appointing 'consultants' and 'Insider Establishment Interpreters'. It is important, very important you get to grips with all this and study well, some times 100 page documents produced by WAG Civil Servants plus consider in depth all the Cadw papers regards all their Initiatives for both Pura Wallia and Marcher WalliaDO THIS VERY FAST! BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE and note you are at the 11th Hour now. From what I have observed thanks to Plaid Cymru WAG Minister of Heritage Alun Ffred Jones the 'usual suspects' of 'Crachdom' are being well taken care of first and foremost, even though they have no real interest in tourism, not even 'Internal Tourism' as I am.

4: This is all 'Fait Accompli' almost by CADW and Co, not least because over the coming two weeks they are holding some serious workshops, one at Llanrwst and the other in the South to advance their Princes of Wales Initiative. Two work shops have already been held, your concern here needs to be these important related issue, they have set aside North East Wales as the initiative area of the 'Conquistadores'. Now you urgently need to campaign and work for the North East March to be considered as Gwynedd is Conwy and to be associated with Gwynedd Uwch Conwy. Perhaps centering the 'fight back' on the Mold Welsh Princes Initiative of Flintshire historian Stephen Griffiths, I do not know what you can do to get yourselves represented at any  future Cadw workshops at this late date but think on it,  go get Cadw Information on their workshops in particular asap, see what can be done to represent your vies and grab some of the grants being handed around
.
NB: Sian Ifan of Embassy Glyndwr is going to the Llanwrst Workshop to represent Owain Glyndwr Interests and,  I shall by one way or another be represented at the Margam workshop regards Gwlad Fawr Glywysing (Morgannwg and Gwent). I know Gwynedd Uwch Conwy Interests are being taken care of as are those of Powys being taken care of, that only leaves Dyfed? Anyone out there in that Gwlad Tywysog Cymru can do any thing about that Princes of Deheubarth Initiative
.
5: Also I would suggest that the annual Hope Owain Glyndwr event becomes an Easter Event as in the scheme of things the Dafydd III rising there with also attack on Harwarden, so initiated the War of 1282 in an 'Easter Rebellion'. Historically, I consider this more important that it's Glyndwr connection with Hope. Maybe then a Glyndwr event could be held later in connection with the death of Hywel Gwynedd a very important 'Arwyr Glyndwr' deserving of much more attention than he gets. Although, I have researched much to do with he, ready to be wrote up as a Gwasg Garreg Gwalch type booklet which will also advance a memorial project. As for Dafydd III and/or Hywel Gwynedd priorities. I shall leave it for the North East to decide on, it is only a suggestion not even a proposal. although I would be interested in hearing if my suggestions are being considered as I may be able to help further, as the North Eastern March does need most urgent attention.

.6: The other Workshop is at Margam to advance the Cadw 'Anglo - Norman Marcher Lords Initiative' is this week, my main concern is  Gwlad Fawr Glywysing, in particular 'Blaenau Morgannwg' which I am myself focusing on us best I can. Will keep one and all informed also note I seek support for the Glywysing  Initiatives which includes Morgannwg and Gwent with some major attention to Llywelyn Bren and his rebellion of 1315-16 asap. See Llywelyn Bren in I'r Gad Blog link above.
..

7: After much effort I finally got RCAHMW and Cadw to agree to a Welsh Battlefields register, this was two years ago and I do not believe they have yet moved on this. Nor a Wall Chart or,  a book on Battlefields. I think it's time some radical campaigning was brought to the fore to remind them as to their promises, now maybe 'Broken Promises'. I had threatened to take action in a 'Wall Paper War' but put my 'Wall Paper Weapon' of 'Mass Castle Destruction' I left it at Cilmeri Cenotaph for other, younger elements to take ready for a time such as this when needed again as right now.
.
I believe that Adam Phillips of Balchder Cymru has stated they were to campaign against CADW - 'Conquest And Defeat Wales! However, the last time I checked on he, I seen he had become a radical 'Welsh Socilaist Republican' and was back on the National Liberation Trail via a Irish - Scottish Abergele Martyrs Commemoration March 2010. So possibly he and his BC mates are now not interested in Welsh Medieval Monarchs and quite possibly will be soon celebrating the International Republican 'Bastille Day' celebrations. But then you know Adam, he changes his patriotic politics as fast as the 'Balchder Boyos' change their shirts from Red to Green to Black to White and, of course he will soon get that 'Rali Cilmeri Feeling' and forget all about his so called ''Welsh Republicanism''.

So consider that too as a major priority? See link to Cadw below:

8: Other matters of common shared interest:
.
* I note mention of a Sept 16 event in Machynlleth in 'Cymdeithas Tywysogion' face book, I would have thought by now that most patriots would have realised why Sept 16 is held in Corwen and not Machynlleth.  I shall say no more on this at moment but await for you to bang this suggestion on the head fast as I find it most undermining of all the work of Sian Ifans regards her great effort with  'Gwaith Glyndwr' all over Wales, not least in Machynlleth and Corwen. To so disregard her efforts and those of pobl Glyndwr Machynlleth to this year kick off an annual Gwyl y Coron Glyndwr in correct place at correct date 21 June 'Dydd y Senedd', I find most selfish, hopefully not stupid or an act of deliberate subversion? As if your society did organise such an event, then sorry I would no longer be supportive of you or assist you or indeed be in anyway mind full of you. Up to this point you must admit I have been very gracious and supportive of your efforts, so please do not be 'Bone Headed' about this, annoy Sian and you annoy me, full stop ok! As I am getting a tad tired and weary of the pathetic patriots who do not use their heads and attempt to cooperate, instead of 'Back Stabbing', you will note what I have to be critical about I do up front with offers of 'Face to Face' come back as I did re Rali Cilmeri 2009 but no one was up for that?
..
* There is plenty for you to do  worry about, so let Sian get on with her 'Gwaith Glyndwr' as Sian is well ahead in dealing with Cadw re all things Glyndwr, as you will soon see! Sian and Embassy Glyndwr is also way ahead regards Glyndwr 660 and a  fourth coming programme of Commemorative Events and Activities plus publishing of Books, Pamphlets and DVD's of film she has taken of Glyndwr events over the years.  I also by year 2014 will have two major books and at least six pamphlets on line but not completed until 2013 ready for 2014, the 600th anniversary of the birth of Owain Glyndwr in 1354. In this connection note Sian has two new blogs coming out soon, the one 'Galwad Glyndwr' to call patriots to action to join with Embassy Glyndwr in getting organised for G660 - Glyndwr 660th Anniversary. There will be a blog with this title Glyndwr 660 as a G660 National Commemorative platform, on line by Lughsadha - 1st August
...
You too may officially be part of this most major national commemoration by maybe being invited to discuss possibly in a meeting at Corwen on or abouts 16 Medi? I say maybe as Embassy Glyndwr is running a field trip at this time and, I have a Cyfarfod Sofraniaeth meeting to attend. However, failing to hold meeting in September, then we could see people of the North East March on about occasion of 2011 anniversary of death of Hywel Gwynedd, when I shall be up that way to discuss a memorial for he.
..
* Regards Llywelyn III, do you know why I label him as the 'Third' and not 'Second' think on it, there are two important valid reasons why? On the whole, there are a number of matters outstanding we need to support here, not least inviting a Llys Rhosyr - Aberfraw delegation to always open the cenotaph ceremony at Rali Cilmeri. Other than that I have contacted people in Gwynedd Uwch Conway re memorial for Battle of Bryn Derwin site, a Cae Edward, Nefyn medieval festival and much more needs to be done re promoting the 'Easter War 1282' that broke out in HopeHawarden also in Aberystwyth. Other than this we need to focus much more on Dafydd III and the final months of struggle into 1283, not least informing on his betrayal and capture, the handing over to the English of the Royal Treasures. Plus there is need to inform on the 'Statutes of Rhuddlun' and the 'Ethnic Cleansing' of native Welsh out of 'Y Berfeddwlad' and in areas of Ynys Mon. Most importantly what is never fully understood is how pura Wallia was parcelled out to the 'Conquistadores', see the 'Forest of Snowdon' affair in my Land and Liberty posts in The Welsh Patriot blog.
.
* Then there is the matter of the 100th anniversary of the 1911 Investiture, what is going to be done about that? For starters a radical campaign to have the history of the English Princes of Wales thrown out of Caernarfon Castle, to be replaced with an exhibition of the native Princes of Wales. Such campaign will require patriotic picketing of Caernarfon and, other Ewardian Castles throughout  2011. Plus to be considered a major 'Medieval Mobalisation' to demonstrate Patriotic disapproval of commemorating the 1911 Investiture, be organised.  Plus present a patriotic interpretation of the history of the native princes of Wales. Other patriots might be organising protests in opposition to any commemorative events of 1911 Anniversary of the first Investiture of an 'Englishman as Prince of Wales', we shall see?
..
Then there is the matter of Prysgduon, if there are young patriots of good physical status plus have strong legs, I have a major Wales and possibly World wide grabbing headlines to be made out of a special project I have in mind. Possibly this is one for Adam Phillips and the 'Balchder Boyos', for despite my criticism of Adam's  politics and often pointless projects in that direction he nevertheless is good as a 'Medieval Enthusiast'. More on Prysgduon in due course, to be posted up in this blog.
..
* May I suggest, that it might be a good idea if your society this year focused on 410 AD post Roman Britain and the beginnings of the Welsh Native Dynasties. Perhaps in this connection holding an event at Castell Degannwy would be a good idea! See fourth coming blog post of the rising up of patriotic flags at Degannwy.

Wonderful location for a Summer picnic and display of Welsh Heraldic Flags, it also brings us to a period of history we do not know enough of which is so important in the shaping of Cymru and Cymry. We do seem to have done the later Welsh Princes to death but what about the time 410 - 1039 on to 1039 to 1081 periods, revisiting the history of the Battle of Mynydd Carn 1081, to ask question: Why should we consider the victory of Gruffydd ap Cynan as best outcome for Wales?
