YES CYMRU PLAID CYMRU'S INDEPENDENCE ALIBI HELD AN EVENT AT WELSH ASSEMBLY SUNDAY 17 MEDI 2017 HOLDING HIGH THEIR YES CYMRU FLAG ALONG WITH BANER Y DRAIG GOCH. VERY MUCH DOUBT IF A 'YES CYMRU' DEVOLUTION DILLETANTE HUMAN DAISY CHAIN AROUND ASSEMBLY WILL ACHIEVE MUCH, FAR BETTER A RADICAL NATIONALIST LAND AND LIBERTY PROTEST CHAIN AROUND MYG WINDFARM SITE THAT WOULD HAVE MADE MORE WORTHY IMPACT. HOWEVER, YES CYMRU ASIDE FOR NOW OTHER THAN TO SAY ANOTHER MIDDLE CLASS SOFT DISTRACTION FROM A REAL NATIONAL LIBERATION STRUGGLE THAT IS DOOMED TO FAILIURE AS I HAVE EXPLAINED ELSE WHERE:
MODERATE NATIONALIST ICONS
THE LEEK A SHAKESPEARE LITERARY INVENTION AND THE DAFFODIL AN INVESTITURE I LLOYD GEORGE INVENTION AS FOR ST DAVID'S DAY FESTIVITIES AN HENRY V AWARD TO TAFFS WHO FOUGHT FOR HIM AT AZINCOURT 1215 BUT WHAT OF Y DRAIG GOCH? IT'S ROOTS ARE A ROMAN SYMBOL ADOPTED BY ARTHUR WHILST HIS FATHER UTHER PREFERRED A GOLD DRAGON AS DID OWAIN GLYNDWR. BUT IT WAS THE RICHMONDS AKA TUDORS WHO HI - JACKED THE ANCINT SYMBOL OF ARTHER AND CADWLADER TO MAKE OF IT THEIR OWN AS THE SYMBOL AT THE BATTLE OF BOSWORTH TO GET TAFFS TO SACRIFICE THEMSELVES FOR AN ANGLO - WELSH OPPORTUNIST.
AS FOR HENRY:
THE TUDOR LEGACY IS ONE THAT IN CHIEF PROMOTED THE UNION OF WALES WITH ENGLAND IN THE 1536 ACT OF ANNEXATION AND USE OF THE WELSH RED DRAGON AND EGLISH LION AS A SYMBOL OF THIS UNITY:
BUT WITH THE COMING OF THE STUARTS OUT WENT THE RED DRAGON AND IN CAME THE SCOTTISH UNICORN AND THAT WAS IT RED DRAGON FIN! HOWEVER, RESSURECTED AS A WELSH REGIMENTAL BADGE IN WW I AND WW II. BUT IT WAS NOT UNTIL THE 1911 INVESTITURE IT WAS REVIVED AS A FLAG AS COLOURFUL HERALDRY TO PLAY UP THE WELSH CONNECTION WITH THE ENGLISH CROWN AND THEIR ENGLISH PRINCES FOR WALES. THEN MADE OFFICIAL AS A 'NATIONAL BANNER' IN 1959. POPULAR AS A FOOTBALL/RUGBY SUPPORTERS FLAG AND FOR WELSH CHILDREN TO WAVE WELCOMING ENGLISH ROYALTY TO WALES ON THEIR OCCAIONAL VISITS AS IT IS NOT SEEN AS A DEFINATE NATIONALIST SYMBOL THUS NON THREATING. NOW PREPARE TO VOMIT AND IF YOUR A MEMBER OF YES CYMRU CHOKE ON YOUR OWN SICKENG LACK OF REAL PATRIOTISM AND FEAR OF RADICAL WELSH NATIONALISM WHICH PUTS YOU IN THE SAME BALL PARKS AS KIDS WHEELED OUT TO WELCOME ENGLISH ROYALTY WAVING RED DRAGON AND UNION JACK FLAGS. ALL OF WHICH JUST MAKES NONSENSE OF YES CYMRU CALL FOR WELSH INDEPENDENCE.
UNLIKE THE TWO FLAGS OF OWAIN GLYNDWR; FOUR LIONS RAMPANT AND Y DRAIG AUR.
PS: INTERESTING HOW AT THE YES CYMRU WELSH ASSEMBLY EVENT YES CYMRU WENT BIG ON ST DAVID'S DAY FLAGS.
I SUGGEST PATRIOTS INSTEAD FLY THE CROES NAID FLAG AS AN ICON WITH MORE PATRIOTIC PURPOSE:
Get this from a library! David, the last prince of Wales : the ten 'lost' months of Welsh history. [Ralph Maud]
REMEMBER FIRST A PROPOSED EVENT.
YES CENEDL GLYNDWR RALLY ON TWT HILL WITH MARCH ON
CAERNARFON CASTLE AGAINST INVESTITURE III.

NANHYSGLAN, BERA MAWR JUNE 1283: ACTUAL SITE OF THE CAPTURE OF DAFYDD III CONTINUED - See previous post.
and an explanation (2017).
The present memorial site depicted overleaf was chosen to for two reasons, the one being location allows for easy access for majority of people inc children, senior citizens and the disabled. Secondly, the boughed oak and sapling appeared to us as very symbolic of a potentially resurgent Nation and people.
The actual site of historic event described over took place in either a cave on Bera Mawr or in an ‘Hovel’ on a bog near ‘Nanhysglan’ on Bera Mawr (visible in fotos and reached via the Abergwyngregyn waterfall), so history records and we shall further research and one day place another memorial in this location. The event took place on June 21 or 22 and a short time later Edaward on 28 June 1283 declared his war on Cymru/Wales at and end. Soon there after the Royal Treasures of Gwynedd/Cymru including ‘Y Croes Naid’ was handed over to him by the same breed of ‘Welsh Traitors’ who had betrayed Dafydd and his family at ‘Nanhysglan’.
Dafydd III has not been given a good nor fair write up by welsh historians but such aside it is important to be mindful that in the last days of struggle for Welsh Independence he had fought to a most bitter and awful sad conclusion. It is a dark tragic end to the Principality of Gwynedd and Welsh Independence. Such being worthy of recording, memorialising and commemorating. As much as ‘Cilmeri’ 11 Rhagfyr 1282.
Gethin ap Gruffydd & Sian Ifan.
