Comment  2011 -  2012 Suggestions.

Whilst I have no problem with Rali Cilmeri Commemoration being in main a political event, nor do I have a problem with Patriots historically remembering the past FWA Association with the event. However, I am concerned with the Black Para - Military Uniforms being so prominant, a Balchder Cymru development and contribution to the event. After this years event I am more concerned after accusations and evidence of racist elements attending the event along with BC playing at Tramp Tramp Tartan Toy Soldiers with much ref to past militant Nationalism, I see all this as to the advantage and use of WECTU. There is another concern and that is the Cilmeri Commemoration could be used hence increasingly by right wing elements that have more in common with Oswald Mosley than Llywelyn ap Gruffydd. Yes! FWA Commandant Cayo was a right wing Nationalist bit of a Spanish Franco and Falange fan but he never let that overplay is Welsh Patriotism, same FWA Commandant Coslett who was more to left than Cayo but at end of the day his politics was no more than Knee Jerk Super Patriotism. Whereas Cayo would never be a Crachach Camp Follower, for sure Coslett would have been on occaision but then he was more the Cymraeg Speaking Cultural Nationalist. I can see how BC leaders were attracted to idea of Coslett as their early 'main man' leader, they have much in common. Indeed and in fact their 'show time script' as they have no 'activist agenda' is one well suited to the 'Patriotic Politics' of dear old Denis. Whatever, I would not denie BC their fun and games at Rali Cilmeri Commemoration nor would I protest against use of the White Eagle Cross as a flag or whatever. But it should not be to so much to the fore and in patriot faces, I have no objection to this kind of 'Old Guard' Patriotism having a second senior role even with or without the Uniforms and 'Tartan Taffery'. Must recognise a pretty good colourful BC Contribution to Rali Cilmeri Commemoration and allow them to continue and so Patriotically Participate as they wish.  Keeping much in mind which is further informed on in below link, important you read asap and act upon as you see best:

However, my main suggestion now concerns Gwynedd Patriots, looking to they to make sure that to fore in the Rali Cilmeri Parade and around the Cilmeri Cenotaph is a 'Gwladgarol Gwynedd Contingent'. That their representatives open and chair the commemoration for reasons that should be obvious, as after all first and foremost Llywelyn III was Tywysog Gwynedd. Gwynedd, I further suggest That Gwynedd Patriots take responsibility for an Urdd Brenhinol Cymru Heraldic Honour Guard wearing Tabards and carrying flags displaying the Arms of the Five/Six Royal Houses of Cymru/Wales. I suggest then that thosec large Basque SAtyle Red Berets be worn with Ivy on Yellow Ribbon be fine as would be Red/Yellow Sashes. Such then much to the fore would be an historic dominant contribution acceptable to all and not scare moderate patriots away which is likly to be the case if it is seen that BC is overwealming the event for their own ends which after a decade of Adam's showmanship still remains unclear. However, the above should not be taken that I disaprove of a BC Cilmeri Connection, far from it as I believe they do have a useful and colourful part to play if not too politically serious.

The only way such suggestions now advance well to be ready to employ by Cilmeri Commemoration 2012 and there afterc is if the Organisers of the Gwynedd 1282 events adopt and mentor such, perhaps even at long last establishing a Cymdeithas Llywelyn III as there is so much to do in this connection. Not least a more detailed look into the 1282 - 83 war which I am finding after a recent reread of this history very interesting particularly Post Scripts or the Epilogue as the Battle For Betws Mountain 1282 - 1334.
